1. ACQUAINT (VERB): familiarize

Example Sentence:

2. APPROBATION (NOUN): approval
Synonyms: permission, consent Antonyms: disapproval, refusal
Example Sentence: 
The troop sought for the approbation of the commander-in-chief. 
3. AVER (VERB): claim
Synonyms: assert, declare Antonyms: deny, disclaim
Example Sentence:

4. BEFOG (VERB): to make confused
Synonyms: dazzle, daze Antonyms: clarify, cleanse

5. BLANDISHMENT (NOUN): flattery
