‘international volunteer day’ is celebrated every year on 05 December all over the world। International Volunteer Day (IVD), also known as International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development ।
History of International Volunteer Day :
Passed in the United Nations General Assembly by resolution of 17 December 1985 (A/RES/40/212) that 05 December be observed as International Volunteer Day। The day is a global celebration of honoring people’s participation in making changes at all levels, local, national and international।On this occasion, programs like conferences, seminars, exhibitions, cleanliness campaigns, morning tea etc. are organized to create public awareness। This opportunity underscores the growing involvement and involvement of volunteers at the community level।
अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक (वालंटियर) दिवस
प्रत्येक वर्ष संपूर्ण विश्व में 05 दिसम्बर को ‘अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक दिवस’ मनाया जाता है। जिसे International Volunteer Day (IVD) यानि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वॉलिंटियर दिवस, जिसे अर्थात आर्थिक और सामाजिक विकास के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक दिवस रूप में भी जाना जाता है ।
अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक दिवस का इतिहास :
संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा में 17 दिसंबर 1985 के प्रस्ताव (A/RES/40/212) द्वारा पारित किया गया कि 05 दिसंबर को अंतरराष्ट्रीय वालंटियर दिवस के रूप में मनाया जायेगा। यह दिवस स्थानीय, राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय सभी स्तरों पर परिवर्तन करने में लोगों की भागीदारी के सम्मान का एक वैश्विक उत्सव है।इस अवसर पर जन-जागरूकता पैदा करने के लिए कान्फ्रेंस, सेमिनार, प्रदर्शनियाँ, स्वच्छता अभियान, मॉर्निंग टी आदि कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं। यह अवसर सामुदायिक स्तर पर स्वयंसेवकों की बढ़ती संलिप्तता और भागीदारी को रेखांकित करता है।
