Bomdila Pass
Bomdila Pass is a strategically important pass in the trans-Himalayan region of Arunachal Pradesh on its border with Tibet. During 1962 war, the Chinese troops entered Indian Territory through this pass and could easily occupy the whole of Arunachal Pradesh. After the war defences at the pass were strengthened. Now it is closely guarded. Bomdila is also the headquarters of the West Kameng district of the Arunachal Pradesh.
Dafla Hills
Dafla Hills are part of the lower Himalayas located in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. These hills are covered with dense bamboo, pine and deodar trees. The tribal people of this region practices shifting cultivation.
