• All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) under the Ministry of Ayush signed a Common Empanelment Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the General Insurance Council (GIC) in New Delhi.

• The Supreme Court today issued notices to 17 states to ensure the setting up of special NIA courts in states where 10 or more cases are pending trail under anti-terror laws. A bench headed by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant sought responses from the states after the Union Home Ministry submitted a report.

• The Supreme Court today highlighted the practical difficulties faced by investigators in the digital age and said giving a prior notice before a search and seizure could effectively end an investigation before it begins.

• Government has set a three-hour deadline for social media platforms to take down AI-generated or deepfake content once it is flagged by the government or ordered by a court.

• The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is carrying out a special safety audit of non-scheduled operators to assess operational and safety aspects. The audit was ordered following the Baramati air crash in which Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, along with four others, was killed.

• India signed an Agreement on Social Security relating to Social Security Contributions with the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland in New Delhi. In a statement, External Affairs Ministry said that this agreement was signed by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and British High Commissioner.

• Capacity Building Commission’s Rashtriya Karmayogi Large Scale Jan Seva Programme (Phase-II) concluded. Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva Program was designed to emphasise the deeper sense of Seva Bhav (spirit of service) and Svadharma (duty aligned with personal purpose) among Government servants.
