1598 – फ्रांस के शासक हेनरी चतुर्थ ने नांत का आदेश जारी किया। की आदेश के आधार पर प्रोटेस्टेन्ट ईसाईयों को पूर्ण धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता दी जाये।
