Introduction
Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, Turkey, Bahrain, and Qatar are countries. The Arabian peninsula is the largest in the world. In the eastern parts there is a salt desert, western parts there is a sandy desert.

The Gulf of Aqaba connects the red sea with Israel, Gulf of Suez connects the red sea with the Mediterranean sea.
Countries on the western part have Mediterranean climates and on the eastern part have tropical climates.
More than ½ of the World’s oil reserves and 40% of the world’s natural gas reserves are found here. India’s top sources of crude oil are Saudi Arabia and then Iraq. The top natural gas sources are Qatar and Egypt.
