Ramanand Sagar

Ramanand Sagar was an Indian film director। Ramanand Sagar is famous for making the most popular serial ‘Ramayana। His career started with a film titled “Riders of the Rallroad” (1936)।Biography: Ramanand Sagar, a versatile talent, was born in a wealthy family on 29 December 1927 at a place called “Asalguru” village in Lahore district of undivided India। He did not get the love of his parents, because he was adopted by his grandmother। Earlier her name was Chandramouli Chopra but Nani changed her name to Ramanand।After the partition of the country in 1947, Ramanand Sagar left everything and came to India with his family। The most brutal and horrific events of partition that he referred to were later recorded in the form of memoirs titled “And Man Died। It is no less important that when he got separated from his motherland and came to India as a refugee in his youth, he had only 5 annas in his pocket, but he also had immense love and devotion towards his religion and culture। Perhaps the result of this was that later he produced religious serials like Ramayana, Shri Krishna, Jai Ganga Maiya and Jai Mahalakshmi। These serials broadcast by Doordarshan created a wonderful atmosphere of devotion in every corner of the country।
Meritorious students :
At the age of 16, his prose poetry was selected to be published in the magazine of Pratap College, Srinagar। Young Ramanand protested against taking dowry due to which he was thrown out of the house। With this his life struggle started। He took a job as a truck cleaner and peon to continue his studies। He worked during the day and studied at night। Being a brilliant student, he received a gold medal from Panjab University, Pakistan and was awarded the title of Munshi Fazal for his proficiency in Persian language। Sagar then became a journalist and soon he rose to the position of news editor in a newspaper। Along with this, his writing work also continued।

रामानंद सागर एक भारतीय फ़िल्म निर्देशक थे। रामानन्द सागर सबसे लोकप्रिय धारावाहिक ‘रामायण’ बनाने के लिए प्रसिद्ध हैं। इनके कैरियर की शुरुआत “राइडर्स ऑफ़ द रैलरोड” (1936) नामक फ़िल्म के साथ हुई थी।जीवन परिचय : बहुमुखी प्रतिभा के धनी रामानन्द सागर का जन्म अविभाजित भारत के लाहौर ज़िले के “असलगुरु” ग्राम नामक स्थान पर 29 दिसम्बर 1927 में एक धनी परिवार में हुआ था। उन्हें अपने माता-पिता का प्यार नहीं मिला, क्योंकी उन्हें उनकी नानी ने गोद ले लिया था। पहले उनका नाम चंद्रमौली चोपड़ा था लेकिन नानी ने उनका नाम बदलकर रामानंद रख दिया।1947 में देश विभाजन के बाद रामानन्द सागर सब कुछ छोड़कर सपरिवार भारत आ गए। उन्होंने विभाजन की जिस क्रूरतम, भयावह घटनाओं का दिग्दर्शन किया, उसे कालांतर में “और इंसान मर गया” नामक संस्मरणों के रूप में लिपिबद्ध किया। यह भी कम महत्त्वपूर्ण नहीं है कि वे जब अपनी मातृभूमि से बिछुड़कर युवावस्था में शरणार्थी बन भारत आए, उनकी जेब में मात्र 5 आने थे, किन्तु साथ में था अपने धर्म और संस्कृति के प्रति असीम अनुराग-भक्तिभाव। शायद इसी का परिणाम था कि आगे चलकर उन्होंने रामायण, श्रीकृष्ण, जय गंगा मैया और जय महालक्ष्मी जैसे धार्मिक धारावाहिकों का निर्माण किया। दूरदर्शन के द्वारा प्रसारित इन धारावाहिकों ने देश के कोने-कोने में भक्ति भाव का अद्भुत वातावरण निर्मित किया।
मेधावी छात्र :
16 साल की अवस्था में उनकी गद्य कविता श्रीनगर स्थित प्रताप कालेज की मैगजीन में प्रकाशित होने के लिए चुनी गई। युवा रामानंद ने दहेज लेने का विरोध किया जिसके कारण उन्हें घर से बाहर कर दिया गया। इसके साथ ही उनका जीवन संघर्ष आरंभ हो गया। उन्होंने पढ़ाई जारी रखने के लिए ट्रक क्लीनर और चपरासी की नौकरी की। वे दिन में काम करते और रात को पढ़ाई। मेधावी छात्र होने के कारण उन्हें पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय पाकिस्तान से स्वर्ण पदक मिला और फ़ारसी भाषा में निपुणता के लिए उन्हें मुंशी फ़ज़ल के ख़िताब से नवाज़ा गया। इसके बाद सागर एक पत्रकार बन गए और जल्द ही वह एक अखबार में समाचार संपादक के पद तक पहुंच गए। इसके साथ ही उनका लेखन कर्म भी चलता रहा।
