External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar spoke with the Foreign Minister of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, on the current situation in Iran. In a social media post, Dr Jaishankar said that he appreciates his sharing Iran’s perspective and thinking in the current complex situation.

India is exporting ten Diesel Electric Locomotives of 3300 horsepower to Mozambique. These locomotives, manufactured by Banaras Locomotive Works, are not only technologically advanced but also have several special facilities for the driver.

India has stressed to have for a permanent solution to border demarcation with China by rejuvenating the established mechanism and calling for bridging the trust deficit created between the two nations after the 2020 border standoff. • विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस जयशंकर ने ईरान के विदेश मंत्री सैयद अब्बास अराघची से ईरान की वर्तमान स्थिति पर बात की। सोशल मीडिया पर एक पोस्ट में डॉ. जयशंकर ने कहा कि वह वर्तमान जटिल परिस्थिति में ईरान के दृष्टिकोण और सोच को साझा करने के लिए उनकी सराहना करते हैं।
• भारत मोज़ाम्बिक को 3300 हॉर्स पावर के दस डीजल इलेक्ट्रिक लोकोमोटिव निर्यात कर रहा है। बनारस लोकोमोटिव वर्क्स द्वारा निर्मित ये लोकोमोटिव न केवल तकनीकी रूप से उन्नत हैं बल्कि इनमें ड्राइवर के लिए कई विशेष सुविधाएं भी हैं।
• भारत ने स्थापित तंत्र को पुनर्जीवित करके चीन के साथ सीमा सीमांकन के स्थायी समाधान पर जोर दिया है और 2020 के सीमा गतिरोध के बाद दोनों देशों के बीच पैदा हुए विश्वास की कमी को पाटने का आह्वान किया है। नई दिल्ली ने शांति और सौहार्द बनाए रखने की आवश्यकता पर भी जोर दिया।
• भारत ने रूस के साथ एस-400 प्रणालियों की आपूर्ति, एसयू-30 एमकेआई उन्नयन और महत्वपूर्ण सैन्य हार्डवेयर की शीघ्र खरीद पर चर्चा की है। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने एससीओ बैठक से इतर अपने रूसी समकक्ष आंद्रेई बेलौसोव के साथ द्विपक्षीय बैठक की।
• विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस जयशंकर ने कहा कि भारत ने चीन में शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) के रक्षा मंत्रियों की बैठक में संयुक्त दस्तावेज पर हस्ताक्षर नहीं किए हैं, क्योंकि एक देश आतंकवाद का उल्लेख नहीं करना चाहता था।
• ऑयल एंड नेचुरल गैस कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड (ओएनजीसी) ने असम के शिवसागर में लीक हो रहे कच्चे तेल के कुएं को सफलतापूर्वक बंद कर दिया।

In Mongolia, more than 200 new cases of measles infection were found in a day. National Centre for Communicable Diseases said this takes the national caseload to over ten thousand. The majority of these were among school-age children, who had only one shot of the vaccine.

Japan has strongly condemned US President Donald Trump for comparing recent American airstrikes on Iran to the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that ended World War II. About one lakh 40 thousand people died when the US dropped nuclear bombs on the two Japanese cities in 1945.

India has flagged off the first consignment of one metric tonne of rose-scented litchi from Pathankot, Punjab, to Qatar. In addition, the government has also exported half a metric tonne of litchi to the UAE from Pathankot.

• मंगोलिया में एक दिन में खसरे के संक्रमण के 200 से अधिक नए मामले पाए गए। नेशनल सेंटर फॉर कम्युनिकेबल डिजीज ने कहा कि इससे राष्ट्रीय मामलों का भार दस हजार से अधिक हो जाता है। इनमें से अधिकांश स्कूली उम्र के बच्चे थे, जिनके पास टीके का केवल एक शॉट था।
• जापान ने ईरान पर हाल के अमेरिकी हवाई हमलों की तुलना द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध को समाप्त करने वाले हिरोशिमा और नागासाकी पर परमाणु बमबारी से करने के लिए अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प की कड़ी निंदा की है। १९४५ में अमेरिका द्वारा जापान के दो शहरों पर परमाणु बम गिराए जाने से करीब एक लाख ४० हजार लोगों की मौत हो गई थी।
• भारत ने पठानकोट, पंजाब से कतर के लिए एक मीट्रिक टन गुलाब-सुगंधित लीची की पहली खेप को हरी झंडी दिखा दी है। इसके अलावा, सरकार ने पठानकोट से संयुक्त अरब अमीरात को आधा मीट्रिक टन लीची का निर्यात भी किया है।
• इज़राइल रक्षा बलों (आईडीएफ) ने दावा किया कि उसकी 12 दिवसीय सैन्य कार्रवाई-ऑपरेशन राइजिंग लायन ने तीन प्रमुख ईरानी परमाणु सुविधाओं को बड़ी क्षति पहुंचाई। इसमें कहा गया है कि इस ऑपरेशन का उद्देश्य ईरान की परमाणु और मिसाइल क्षमताओं को कमजोर करना था।
• मुहम्मद यूनुस की बांग्लादेश अंतरिम सरकार ने ढाका, बीजिंग और इस्लामाबाद के बीच किसी भी उभरते गठबंधन के विचार को खारिज कर दिया है।
