- India has extended humanitarian assistance to the people of Cuba in the aftermath of Hurricane Rafael. In a social media post, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal said that the consignment in the form of Essential Medicines comprising Antibiotics, Anti-pyretics, Pain Killers, etc was sent.
- Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that the Government in collaboration with private players will manufacture wheels for the trains under the Make In India scheme from 2026.
