• रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस स्टाफ (सीडीएस) और सैन्य मामलों के विभाग के सचिव को तीनों सेवाओं के लिए संयुक्त निर्देश और आदेश जारी करने के लिए अधिकृत किया है। यह सशस्त्र बलों के आधुनिकीकरण और परिवर्तन की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम है।
• भारत ने ईरान और इजरायल के बीच युद्ध विराम की रिपोर्टों तथा अमेरिका और कतर द्वारा निभाई गई भूमिका का स्वागत किया। एक बयान में विदेश मंत्रालय ने दोहराया है कि क्षेत्र में विभिन्न संघर्षों को सुलझाने के लिए बातचीत और कूटनीति के अलावा कोई विकल्प नहीं है।

• थाईलैंड ने कंबोडिया जाने वाले सभी यात्रियों पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है, क्योंकि दोनों देश एक कड़वे सीमा विवाद में फंसे हुए हैं। मीडिया रिपोर्टों के अनुसार, यह प्रतिबंध थाईलैंड से कंबोडिया में प्रवेश करने का प्रयास करने वाले किसी भी वाहन या व्यक्ति पर लागू होता है।
• अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष (आईएमएफ) ने अंततः बांग्लादेश के 4.7 बिलियन डॉलर के ऋण कार्यक्रम की तीसरी और चौथी किश्त के 1.3 बिलियन डॉलर के वितरण को मंजूरी दे दी है। तीसरी और चौथी दोनों किस्तों को कवर करने वाली यह राशि २६ जून को बांग्लादेश के खाते में जमा होने की उम्मीद है।
