• भारत ने नई दिल्ली स्थित पाकिस्तान उच्चायोग में कार्यरत एक पाकिस्तानी अधिकारी को भारत में उसकी आधिकारिक स्थिति के अनुरूप न होने वाली गतिविधियों में संलिप्त होने के कारण अवांछित व्यक्ति घोषित कर दिया है। अधिकारी को २४ घंटे के भीतर भारत छोड़ने को कहा गया है।
• भारत ने संगठन की गवर्निंग बॉडी मीटिंग के चल रहे 67वें सत्र के दौरान 2025-26 के कार्यकाल के लिए औपचारिक रूप से एशियाई उत्पादकता संगठन, एपीओ की अध्यक्षता संभाली है। भारत शासी निकाय की बैठक के चल रहे सत्र में भाग ले रहा है, जिसका प्रतिनिधित्व भारत द्वारा किया जा रहा है

International Updates

• High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, Santosh Jha, met 24 Sri Lankan delegates headed to New Delhi for a week-long Capacity-Building Program at India’s Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies.

• Bangladesh ruled out any possibility of allowing a “humanitarian corridor” to Myanmar’s Rakhine State through Bangladesh. The government has neither discussed nor intends to discuss such a proposal with any party, said Bangladesh National Security Adviser Dr. Khalilur Rahman.

• Ukraine’s National Guard has said that six servicemen were killed and 10 others wounded in a Russian missile strike on a training exercise in the Sumy border region. The attack is a major setback for Ukraine’s military.

• The UK has suspended trade talks with Israel, summoned the Israeli ambassador, and imposed new sanctions on West Bank settlers over the worsening situation in Gaza. Foreign Secretary David Lammy called Israel’s military actions in Gaza “morally unjustifiable”.

• US President Donald Trump has announced 175 billion Golden Dome missile defence shield for the United States. He has also named US Space Force General Michael Guetlein to head the ambitious program.

• श्रीलंका में भारत के उच्चायुक्त संतोष झा ने भारत के संसदीय लोकतंत्र अनुसंधान एवं प्रशिक्षण संस्थान में एक सप्ताह के क्षमता निर्माण कार्यक्रम के लिए नई दिल्ली जा रहे 24 श्रीलंकाई प्रतिनिधियों से मुलाकात की।
• बांग्लादेश ने बांग्लादेश के माध्यम से म्यांमार के रखाइन राज्य तक “मानवीय गलियारे” की अनुमति देने की किसी भी संभावना से इनकार किया। बांग्लादेश के राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार डॉ. खलीलुर रहमान ने कहा कि सरकार ने किसी भी पक्ष के साथ इस तरह के प्रस्ताव पर न तो चर्चा की है और न ही चर्चा करने का इरादा रखती है।
• यूक्रेन के नेशनल गार्ड ने कहा है कि सुमी सीमा क्षेत्र में एक प्रशिक्षण अभ्यास के दौरान रूसी मिसाइल हमले में छह सैनिक मारे गए और 10 अन्य घायल हो गए। यह हमला यूक्रेन की सेना के लिए एक बड़ा झटका है।
• ब्रिटेन ने गाजा में बिगड़ती स्थिति को लेकर इजरायल के साथ व्यापार वार्ता निलंबित कर दी है, इजरायली राजदूत को तलब किया है और वेस्ट बैंक के निवासियों पर नए प्रतिबंध लगाए हैं। विदेश सचिव डेविड लैमी ने गाजा में इजरायल की सैन्य कार्रवाई को “नैतिक रूप से अनुचित” बताया।
• अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प ने संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका के लिए 175 बिलियन गोल्डन डोम मिसाइल रक्षा कवच की घोषणा की है। उन्होंने महत्वाकांक्षी कार्यक्रम का नेतृत्व करने के लिए अमेरिकी अंतरिक्ष बल के जनरल माइकल गुएटलीन को भी नामित किया है।
