In the Supplementary Demands for Grants the government has sought Parliament’s nod to spend a net additional 51 thousand 462 crore rupees in the current financial year.

The Government has distributed around 37 crore LED bulbs across the country so far under the UJALA scheme. In a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha, Union Power Minister Manohar Lal said.

• प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी मॉरीशस का सर्वोच्च नागरिक पुरस्कार पाने वाले पहले भारतीय, ग्रैंड कमांडर ऑफ द ऑर्डर ऑफ द स्टार और की ऑफ द इंडियन ओशन बन गए हैं।
• केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने इस साल कहा, बजट में भारतीय भाषा पुस्तक योजना के कार्यान्वयन का प्रावधान किया गया है, जिसमें सभी 22 अनुसूचित भाषाओं के साथ-साथ अंग्रेजी के लिए पाठ्यपुस्तकों का डिजिटलीकरण किया जाएगा।
• प्रधानमंत्री सूर्य घर, मुफ्त बिजली योजना ने 10 मार्च तक देश भर में 10.09 लाख इंस्टॉलेशन पूरे करके एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि हासिल की है।
• सरकार ने दो आतंकी संगठनों अवामी एक्शन कमेटी एएसी और जम्मू-कश्मीर इत्तिहादुल मुस्लिमीन जेकेआईएम पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया। दोनों समूहों को गैरकानूनी गतिविधि (रोकथाम) अधिनियम के तहत गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा गैरकानूनी संघ घोषित किया गया है।
• लोकसभा ने २०२४-२५ के लिए अनुपूरक अनुदान मांगों के दूसरे बैच और मणिपुर बजट पर चर्चा शुरू कर दी है। अनुपूरक अनुदान मांगों में सरकार ने चालू वित्त वर्ष में शुद्ध रूप से अतिरिक्त ५१ हजार ४६२ करोड़ रुपये खर्च करने के लिए संसद की मंजूरी मांगी है।
• सरकार ने उजाला योजना के तहत अब तक देश भर में लगभग ३७ करोड़ एलईडी बल्ब वितरित किए हैं। राज्यसभा में एक सवाल के लिखित जवाब में केंद्रीय बिजली मंत्री मनोहर लाल ने कहा।
