• भारत और चीन अक्टूबर के अंत तक दोनों देशों में निर्दिष्ट बिंदुओं को जोड़ने वाली सीधी हवाई सेवाएं फिर से शुरू करने पर सहमत हुए हैं। विदेश मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा कि दोनों देशों के नागरिक उड्डयन अधिकारी सीधी हवाई सेवाओं को फिर से शुरू करने पर तकनीकी स्तर की चर्चा में लगे हुए हैं।
• अनुभवी गांधीवादी, समाजवादी और स्वतंत्रता सेनानी जीजी पारिख का कल सुबह १०० साल की उम्र में मुंबई में निधन हो गया। पारिख को अपने जीवनकाल में दो बार कैद किया गया था, पहली बार १९४२ में भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन के दौरान और बाद में आपातकाल के दौरान।
• अगली पीढ़ी के जीएसटी सुधार 2025 के कार्यान्वयन के मद्देनजर राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता हेल्पलाइन (एनसीएच) को जीएसटी 2.0 से संबंधित तीन हजार नौ सौ से अधिक कॉल प्राप्त हुई हैं।
• मंत्रालयों के विभिन्न विभागों ने प्रशासनिक सुधार और लोक शिकायत विभाग द्वारा शुरू किए गए विशेष अभियान 5.0 के लिए व्यापक तैयारी की। अभियान का उद्देश्य दक्षता में सुधार करना, प्रक्रियाओं को सुव्यवस्थित करना और नागरिक-केंद्रित शासन को मजबूत करना है।
• भारतीय मौसम विभाग (आईएमडी) ने आज बिहार में बहुत भारी से लेकर अत्यंत भारी वर्षा के लिए लाल रंग की चेतावनी जारी की है। मौसम विभाग ने असम, मेघालय, छत्तीसगढ़, पूर्वी मध्य प्रदेश, पूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेश, झारखंड, ओडिशा, सिक्किम में भी भारी से बहुत भारी वर्षा का अनुमान लगाया है।

• रूसी रक्षा मंत्रालय ने कहा कि 23 जुलाई को इस्तांबुल में शांति वार्ता के दौरान हुए समझौते के बाद रूस और यूक्रेन ने 185-185 युद्धबंदियों की अदला-बदली की। इसके अतिरिक्त, यूक्रेनी नियंत्रित क्षेत्रों से 20 रूसी नागरिकों को वापस लाया गया।
• अमेरिका में ट्रम्प प्रशासन ने ईरान के मिसाइल और सैन्य विमान उत्पादन में शामिल दर्जनों कंपनियों और व्यक्तियों पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है। यह घटना हाल ही में तेहरान के परमाणु कार्यक्रम को लेकर उसके विरुद्ध संयुक्त राष्ट्र (यूएन) द्वारा पुनः लगाए गए दंड के बाद हुई है।
