• The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today. According to IMD, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Rajasthan are likely to experience thunderstorms.

• The Election Commission has said that the seizures related to cash, liquor, drugs and other inducements have crossed 650 crore rupees ahead of the upcoming assembly elections and bypolls across multiple states.

• Bharat Tribes Fest 2026 concluded with a grand closing ceremony in New Delhi. The event marked the culmination of a 19-day celebration of tribal culture, craftsmanship, and enterprise.
