• केंद्रीय जांच ब्यूरो (सीबीआई) ने सऊदी अरब से वांछित भगोड़े मनकंदथिल थेक्केथी की वापसी का सफलतापूर्वक समन्वय किया है। भगोड़ा आपराधिक साजिश और धोखाधड़ी के मामले में सीबीआई द्वारा वांछित था।
• गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने आज नई दिल्ली में एक हजार ८१६ करोड़ रुपये के दिल्ली जल बोर्ड की कई परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन और आधारशिला रखी।
• अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बैंगनी महोत्सव का तीसरा संस्करण पणजी, गोवा में शुरू हुआ। विकलांग व्यक्तियों का जश्न मनाने वाले भारत के पहले अंतरराष्ट्रीय और समावेशी उत्सव के रूप में जाना जाने वाला यह आयोजन सशक्तिकरण, पहुंच और सामाजिक एकीकरण को उजागर करने का लक्ष्य रखता है।

• रूसी राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन ने अज़रबैजानी यात्री जेट दुर्घटना में अपने देश की भूमिका स्वीकार की है, जिसमें 25 दिसंबर 2024 को 38 लोग मारे गए थे। श्री पुतिन ने अपने अज़रबैजानी समकक्ष से कहा है कि मॉस्को गलती से अज़रबैजानी यात्री विमान को मार गिराने में अज़रबैजान की भूमिका के लिए मुआवजा देगा।
• यूरोपीय आयोग की अध्यक्ष उर्सुला वॉन डेर लेयेन दो अविश्वास प्रस्तावों से बच गईं क्योंकि मध्यमार्गी दलों ने उनके राष्ट्रपति पद का समर्थन किया। यूरोपीय संसद में अति-दक्षिणपंथी और अति-वामपंथी समूहों द्वारा दायर प्रस्तावों पर सोमवार को बहस हुई और कल मतदान हुआ।
