Sharks are solitary predators. Only rarely do they gather in small groups, and even only during the mating season, then immediately parted.
Dolphins travel the ocean in close groups, strongly supporting family ties. They hunt and defend together.
If a dolphin notices a molested shark, the pack surrounds it and beats its body with a powerful beak. And the dolphin acts with a surge and deliberately marks the most vulnerable place – the gill slits, which is similar to the blow to the solar plexus in humans.
