1. EXUDE (VERB): emit

Synonyms: leak, discharge Antonyms: conceal, keep

Example sentence:

There was a factory nearby which exuded a pungent smell.

2. EXTROVERT (ADJECTIVE): sociable person

Synonyms: 
gregarious, lively Antonyms: introvert, loner

Example sentence:

His extrovert personality won him many friends.


3. EXORCISE (VERB): 
drive out


Synonyms: 
expel, purge Antonyms: welcome, maintain


Example sentence:

He tried to exorcise the pain of his childhood trauma.

4. EXTRICATE (VERB): get out of a situation

Synonyms: relieve, liberate Antonyms: connect, unite

Example sentence:

He made an attempt to extricate himself from his financial difficulties.

5. EXTRANEOUS (ADJECTIVE): unrelated

unneeded; unnecessary Antonyms: essential, important
