    • 2004 – अंतर्राष्ट्रीय श्रम संगठन के अध्यक्ष जुआन सोमाविया भारत यात्रा पर नई दिल्ली पहुँचे।
    • 2007 – पाकिस्तान के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति परवेज मुशर्रफ़ ने अपने सैनिक साथियों से विदाई ली।
    • 2008- छठा वेतन आयोग देने वाला उत्तर प्रदेश देश का पहला राज्य बना। केन्द्र सरकार सर्वोच्च न्यायालय और उच्च न्यायालयों के जजों के वेतन में तीन गुना बढ़ोत्तरी को हरी झण्डी दी।
    • 2014 – आस्ट्रेलियाई क्रिकेटर फिलिप ह्यूज का बाउंसर से घायल होने के बाद मौत हुई।
