PM Kisan Tractor Scheme 2023

PM Kisan Tractor Scheme is a newly launched scheme by the Central Government. The scheme offers actors to small and marginal farmers at subsidized rates. With the scheme, the farmers can purchase tractors at about 50% subsidy. The PM Kisan Tractor scheme is available for farmers across the country. Applicants who want to apply for the tractor subsidy scheme can apply for it through their state-level authorities.

The Government of India is offering tractors to all Kisan/farmers in India. Under the PM Kisan Tractor scheme, farmers from all over the country can purchase tractors which is an essential commodity on any farming land. The Kisan Tractor Scheme aims to cover a major portion of Small and Marginal farmers residing in different states of India.

As it is a national scheme, different state governments will be responsible for issuing the tractors to the farmers on subsidy. The tractors issued under the scheme will be given to only one member of the house. Also, the scheme promises some additional benefits for the female farmers making an application to the scheme.

Percentage subsidy assistance under the scheme is of varying degrees for each state. Various state governments are offering these tractors under the subsidy ranging from 25% by the Haryana government to even 80% in states like Jharkhand.

Tractor Yojana Eligibility Requirements

In order to get the tractor at a subsidised rate, applicants will have to ensure that they fulfil some criteria essential to be eligible for the scheme. A piece of brief information about these criteria is available in this section.

Eligibility Criteria Specifications
Nationality The applicant farmer must be a permanent resident of India
Age He/ She must be above 18 years of age and below 60 years.
Family Income The annual family income of the applicant must be anywhere lower than 1.5 Lakh per annum.
Other -Should lie under the criteria of small/ marginal farmer.
-The farmer purchasing the tractor must possess farming land in his name.
-Should not be a beneficiary of any other subsidy-based scheme.
  • Apart from this, the farmer applying for the subsidy must essentially not have purchased a tractor within the last seven years.
  • Also, It is to be noted that only one person per family will be considered eligible for purchasing the subsidised tractors.

PM Kisan Tractor Apply Document Requirements

The applicant farmer applying for the tractor scheme must possess some essential documents. A list of the essential documents for the scheme is given below.

  • Aadhar Card
  • Bank Account Details (Linked to the aadhar card)
  • Identity Proof (including the PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving Lcence, etc.)
  • Photograph (Passport size)
  • Legal account/ details of the possessed land

PM Kisan Tractor Scheme Registration Form Online

The Registration process for making an application to the PM Kisan Tractor Scheme is not available online unlike the other schemes by the Government of India. All the eligible farmers who want to apply and become a beneficiary of the scheme can visit their nearby Common Service Centre (CSC) or the state-level Agriculture Department.

Applicants can secure the application form from any of these and fill in the application as per the detailed requirement of the form. Applicants will have to enter some details like:

  • Applicant/ Farmer Name (Name must be aadhaar card)
  • Applicant’s Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Name of Husband/ Father
  • Address details
  • Residence district, Village
  • Caste Category
  • Contact details (Mobile No.)

Applicants can fill in the application and submit the form to the respective CSC or Agriculture Department.
