• केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्री सीआर पाटिल ने इस बात पर जोर दिया है कि गंगा का संरक्षण केवल एक पर्यावरणीय प्रयास नहीं है, बल्कि यह भारत की सांस्कृतिक विरासत, आस्था और लाखों लोगों की जीवन रेखा से आंतरिक रूप से जुड़ा हुआ है।
• केंद्रीय कपड़ा राज्य मंत्री पाबिट्रा मार्गेरिटा 1 अक्टूबर से अगले महीने 3 अक्टूबर तक मास्को, रूस की यात्रा पर रहेंगी। मंत्री मास्को में बेस्ट ऑफ इंडिया – भारतीय परिधान एवं वस्त्र मेले का उद्घाटन करेंगे।
• केंद्र ने कहा है कि लद्दाख के मामलों पर एपेक्स बॉडी लेह (एबीएल) और कारगिल डेमोक्रेटिक अलायंस (केडीए) के साथ किसी भी समय बातचीत के लिए उसके दरवाजे हमेशा खुले रहे हैं। गृह मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा, सरकार एबीएल और केडीए के साथ चर्चा का स्वागत करना जारी रखेगी।
• अल्पसंख्यक मामलों के मंत्रालय ने दिल्ली सिख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधन समिति और राज्य होटल प्रबंधन संस्थान, त्रिपुरा के सहयोग से नई दिल्ली में पीएम विकास के तहत कौशल के माध्यम से विक्सित भारत-२०४७ के लिए अभिसरण पर एक उद्योग सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया।
• भारत और भूटान ने चार हजार 33 करोड़ रुपये के कुल व्यय पर दो सीमा पार रेल संपर्क परियोजनाएं स्थापित करने पर सहमति व्यक्त की है। रेलवे परियोजना में कोकराझार-गेलेफू और बनारहाट-समत्से शामिल हैं।
• केंद्रीय वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा है कि यूरोपीय मुक्त व्यापार संघ (ईएफटीए) देशों – आइसलैंड, लिकटेंस्टीन, नॉर्वे के साथ मुक्त व्यापार समझौता (एफटीए) बुधवार से लागू होगा।
