• अफगानिस्तान के विदेश मंत्रालय ने काबुल में पाकिस्तान के राजदूत को तलब किया और तालिबान अधिकारियों के अनुसार नांगरहार और खोस्त प्रांतों में पाकिस्तानी सैन्य हमलों के खिलाफ औपचारिक विरोध दर्ज कराया।
• थाईलैंड के संवैधानिक न्यायालय ने प्रधानमंत्री पैतोंगटार्न शिनावात्रा को सत्ता में केवल एक वर्ष रहने के बाद नैतिकता के उल्लंघन के कारण पद से बर्खास्त कर दिया। सुश्री पैतोंगटार्न, जो थाईलैंड की सबसे युवा प्रधानमंत्री थीं, शिनावात्रा परिवार द्वारा समर्थित या हटाए जाने वाली छठी प्रधानमंत्री बन गयी हैं।
