• The government has refuted a video circulating on social media claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will provide free air conditioners to people through their Aadhaar cards. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has clarified that the video is fake and AI-generated.

• Vice President C P Radhakrishnan released a book in New Delhi, titled V.I.P. Culture in India: Power, Privilege and Distance from Democracy. Addressing the gathering, Mr Radhakrishnan said the book reflects on the distance that often exists between institutions of power and ordinary citizens.

• The Department of Rural Development will organise a National Workshop on Leveraging AI in Rural Development in New Delhi today.
