• मेक इन इंडिया पहल की शुरुआत के बाद से भारत ने 2023-24 में स्वदेशी रक्षा उत्पादन में अब तक की सबसे अधिक वृद्धि हासिल की है, जो रिकॉर्ड एक लाख 27 हजार करोड़ रुपये तक पहुंच गई है।
• बंदरगाह, जहाजरानी और जलमार्ग मंत्री, सर्बानंद सोनोवाल ने सिंगापुर समुद्री सप्ताह में भाग लिया, जहां वह एक सुरक्षित, टिकाऊ और समृद्ध समुद्री भविष्य बनाने के उद्देश्य से चर्चा करने, विचार-विमर्श करने और रणनीति तैयार करने के लिए वैश्विक समुद्री नेताओं के साथ शामिल हुए।
• बाजार नियामक भारतीय प्रतिभूति एवं विनिमय बोर्ड (सेबी) ने विदेशी पोर्टफोलियो निवेशकों (एफपीआई) द्वारा विस्तृत खुलासे के लिए निवेश सीमा को दोगुना कर ५०,००० करोड़ रुपये करने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी।
• भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (आईएमडी) ने अगले तीन दिनों के दौरान जम्मू-कश्मीर, हिमाचल प्रदेश, केरल, लद्दाख, गिलगित और मुजफ्फराबाद में हल्की से मध्यम वर्षा का अनुमान लगाया है।
• सरकार ने कहा है कि इस साल जनवरी महीने में कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा योजना (ईएसआईसी) के तहत करीब १८ लाख नए कर्मचारियों का नामांकन किया गया है। आज जारी ईएसआईसी के अस्थायी पेरोल आंकड़ों के अनुसार २७,८०५ नए प्रतिष्ठानों को सामाजिक सुरक्षा के दायरे में लाया गया।
• केंद्र ने संसद सदस्यों और पूर्व सदस्यों के वेतन, दैनिक भत्ते और पेंशन में वृद्धि को अधिसूचित किया है।
