• सरकार ने विकलांग व्यक्तियों के लिए केंद्र सरकार के आवास के आवंटन में चार प्रतिशत आरक्षण की घोषणा की, जो सार्वजनिक सेवाओं में समानता, सम्मान और पहुंच की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। यह ऐतिहासिक कदम आवास एवं शहरी मामलों के मंत्री द्वारा उठाया गया।
• जेडी(यू) सांसद संजय झा की अध्यक्षता में एक बहुदलीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने टोक्यो में जापानी विदेश मंत्री ताकेशी इवाया से मुलाकात की और आतंकवाद के खिलाफ लड़ाई में जापान से समर्थन का अनुरोध किया। श्री झा ने 25 अप्रैल के संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद के प्रेस वक्तव्य को प्रभावी बनाने का आह्वान किया।
• सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने वक्फ (संशोधन) अधिनियम 2025 को चुनौती देने वाली याचिका पर अपने अंतरिम आदेश सुरक्षित रखे। मुख्य न्यायाधीश बीआर गवई और न्यायमूर्ति ऑगस्टीन जॉर्ज मसीह की पीठ ने अंतरिम आदेश के मुद्दे पर तीन दिनों तक मामले की सुनवाई की।
• भारत की वैज्ञानिक उन्नति के लिए एक बड़े कदम के रूप में, केंद्रीय मंत्री जितेंद्र सिंह ने गोवा के राष्ट्रीय ध्रुवीय एवं महासागर अनुसंधान केंद्र में ध्रुवीय भवन और सागर भवन का उद्घाटन किया। ५५ करोड़ रुपये की लागत वाले इन अत्याधुनिक केंद्रों में विश्व स्तरीय आइस कोर लैब शामिल हैं।
• भारत ने आज अपनी स्थिति दोहराई कि भारत-पाकिस्तान का कोई भी संबंध द्विपक्षीय होना चाहिए। नई दिल्ली में मीडिया को जानकारी देते हुए विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता रणधीर जायसवाल ने कहा कि बातचीत और आतंकवाद एक साथ नहीं चल सकते।
