National News

  • Election Commission, EC has issued notice to AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal following BJP’s complaint to the Commission that two posts on AAP’s official ‘X’ handle allegedly portrayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a defamatory manner.
  • Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will attend the 10th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 16th of November to 17th of November, the Ministry of Defence said.
  • The 42nd edition of the India International Trade Fair -2023 was inaugurated at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi today. The fair will continue till 27th of this month.

State News

  • In Punjab, farmers are gradually adopting horticulture and by this way they are increasing their income and easing burden on irrigation. During 2022-23, the area under horticulture has increased by more than three thousand hectares.
  • In Kerala, an exchange of fire was reported between the Thunderbolt team of the Kerala Police and Maoists at Aayamkudi Hills in Kannur district this morning.
