• सरकार ने उत्तर प्रदेश में जेवर हवाई अड्डे के पास एक सेमीकंडक्टर इकाई स्थापित करने को मंजूरी दे दी है। नई दिल्ली में मीडिया को जानकारी देते हुए सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने कहा, एचसीएल और फॉक्सकॉन के संयुक्त उद्यम के साथ भारत सेमीकंडक्टर मिशन के तहत स्थापित की जाने वाली इकाई।
• छत्तीसगढ़ के बीजापुर जिले में तेलंगाना सीमा पर स्थित कर्रेगुट्टा पहाड़ी पर करीब इक्कीस दिन तक चले माओवादी विरोधी अभियान में १६ महिला माओवादियों समेत इकतीस माओवादी मारे गए हैं।
