• भारतीय मौसम विभाग (आईएमडी) ने आज उत्तराखंड, तेलंगाना, मराठवाड़ा और पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों के कुछ स्थानों पर भारी से लेकर बहुत भारी वर्षा होने का अनुमान लगाया है। आंध्र प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, कर्नाटक, पूर्वी मध्य प्रदेश, हरियाणा में भी इसी तरह की स्थितियों की भविष्यवाणी की गई है।
• भारतीय नौसेना ने गुरुग्राम में नौसेना प्रमुख एडमिरल दिनेश के त्रिपाठी की उपस्थिति में आयोजित कमीशनिंग समारोह में आईएनएस अरावली को कमीशन किया।
• भारतीय राष्ट्रीय भुगतान निगम (एनपीसीआई) ने व्यक्ति-से-व्यापारी (पी2एम) लेनदेन के लिए एकीकृत भुगतान इंटरफेस (यूपीआई) सीमा में बड़े संशोधन की घोषणा की है, जो 15 सितंबर से प्रभावी होगा।

• रूस ने घोषणा की है कि उकारिन के साथ शांति वार्ता रुकी हुई है लेकिन क्रेमलिन यूक्रेन संघर्ष के राजनयिक समाधान के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। क्रेमलिन के प्रवक्ता दिमित्री पेसकोव ने मॉस्को में संवाददाताओं से कहा कि रूस और यूक्रेन के बीच सीधी बातचीत संभव है लेकिन फिलहाल निलंबित है।
