Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a one day visit to Karnataka today. During the visit, Mr Modi will flag off three Vande Bharat Express trains at KSR Railway Station in Bengaluru. It includes trains from Bengaluru to Belagavi, Amritsar to Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Nagpur.

India has welcomed the understanding reached between the United States and the Russian Federation for a meeting in Alaska on 15th of this month. In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs said, this meeting holds the promise of bringing to an end the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

• प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कश्मीर घाटी में पहली मालगाड़ी के आगमन की सराहना की है, जो इस क्षेत्र को राष्ट्रीय माल नेटवर्क से जोड़ने में एक महत्वपूर्ण मील का पत्थर है।
• प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी आज कर्नाटक की एक दिवसीय यात्रा पर होंगे। यात्रा के दौरान, श्री मोदी बेंगलुरु के केएसआर रेलवे स्टेशन पर तीन वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों को हरी झंडी दिखाएंगे। इसमें बेंगलुरु से बेलगावी, अमृतसर से श्री माता वैष्णो देवी कटरा और नागपुर तक की ट्रेनें शामिल हैं।
• भारत ने इस माह की 15 तारीख को अलास्का में होने वाली बैठक के लिए संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका और रूसी संघ के बीच बनी सहमति का स्वागत किया है। विदेश मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा, इस बैठक में यूक्रेन में चल रहे संघर्ष को समाप्त करने का वादा किया गया है।
रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास विभाग के सचिव तथा रक्षा उन्नत प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान की शासी परिषद के अध्यक्ष डॉ. समीर कामत ने कहा कि पिछले वर्ष भारत का रक्षा निर्यात 23,000 करोड़ रुपये तक पहुंच गया तथा अगले दो से तीन वर्षों में इसके दोगुना हो जाने की उम्मीद है।
