• प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने यरुशलम में निर्दोष नागरिकों पर हुए जघन्य आतंकवादी हमले की कड़ी निंदा की है। सोशल मीडिया पर एक पोस्ट में श्री मोदी ने कहा कि भारत आतंकवाद के सभी रूपों और अभिव्यक्तियों की निंदा करता है तथा आतंकवाद के प्रति शून्य सहनशीलता की अपनी नीति पर कायम है।
• प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी इस महीने की १५ तारीख को कोलकाता में संयुक्त कमांडर’ सम्मेलन २०२५ का उद्घाटन करेंगे। रक्षा मंत्रालय ने कहा कि सशस्त्र बल तीन दिवसीय सम्मेलन की मेजबानी करेंगे। इस वर्ष के सम्मेलन का विषय है सुधारों का वर्ष – भविष्य के लिए परिवर्तन।
• भारतीय मौसम विभाग (आईएमडी) ने आज उप-हिमालयी पश्चिम बंगाल और सिक्किम में भारी से बहुत भारी वर्षा का अनुमान लगाया है।

• भारत और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच विदेश कार्यालय परामर्श का छठा दौर कल नई दिल्ली में आयोजित किया गया। बैठक के दौरान दोनों पक्षों ने रक्षा एवं सुरक्षा, व्यापार एवं निवेश, शिक्षा, कृषि, पारंपरिक चिकित्सा को कवर करते हुए द्विपक्षीय संबंधों के पूरे स्पेक्ट्रम का जायजा लिया।
• मॉरीशस के प्रधानमंत्री डॉ. नवीनचंद्र रामगुलाम और उनकी पत्नी वीना रामगुलाम आज से आठ दिवसीय भारत यात्रा पर आएंगे। यह प्रधानमंत्री रामगुलाम की अपने वर्तमान कार्यकाल में भारत की पहली विदेश द्विपक्षीय यात्रा होगी।
• केंद्रीय वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने नई दिल्ली में इजरायल के वित्त मंत्री बेजालेल स्मोत्रिच से मुलाकात की। सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में श्री गोयल ने कहा कि चर्चा दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापार और निवेश संबंधों को और मजबूत करने तथा नए रास्ते तलाशने पर केंद्रित थी।
• जेन जेड विरोध प्रदर्शन के हिंसक हो जाने की घटना की जांच के लिए जांच समिति का गठन किया गया। नेपाल सरकार ने सोमवार को जेन जेड के प्रदर्शन के हिंसक हो जाने के बाद हुई घटना की जांच समिति बनाने का फैसला किया है।
• श्री अरुण कुमार चटर्जी, सचिव (सीपीवी एंड ओआईए) ने भारत-खाड़ी सहयोग परिषद (जीसीसी) राजनीतिक वार्ता के लिए 7-8 सितंबर को रियाद का दौरा किया, जहां उन्होंने जीसीसी के राजनीतिक मामलों और वार्ता के सहायक महासचिव डॉ. अब्दुलअजीज अलुवैशेग के साथ व्यापक चर्चा की।
• यूनिवर्सल पोस्टल यूनियन (यूपीयू) की सर्वोच्च निर्णय लेने वाली संस्था, 28वीं यूनिवर्सल पोस्टल कांग्रेस रविवार को दुबई में शुरू हुई, जिसमें वैश्विक डाक सेवाओं के भविष्य की रूपरेखा तैयार करने के लिए 192 सदस्य देशों के 2,000 से अधिक प्रतिनिधि एकत्रित हुए।
• इज़राइल में, यरूशलेम के रामोट जंक्शन पर गोलीबारी में पांच लोगों की जान चली गई। मीडिया रिपोर्टों के अनुसार, चार पीड़ितों की घटनास्थल पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि पांचवें की अस्पताल में चोटों के कारण मौत हो गई।
