• राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग (एनएचआरसी) ने दूषित कफ सिरप के सेवन से कथित तौर पर बच्चों की मौत की खबरों के बाद मध्य प्रदेश, राजस्थान और उत्तर प्रदेश की सरकारों को नोटिस जारी किए हैं।
• भारतीय मौसम विभाग (आईएमडी) ने आज जम्मू-कश्मीर, उत्तराखंड, पंजाब, हरियाणा और दिल्ली एनसीआर के कुछ स्थानों पर भारी से लेकर बहुत भारी वर्षा होने का अनुमान लगाया है।
• बिहार के विधानसभा चुनाव इस साल ६ और ११ नवंबर को दो चरणों में होंगे। वोटों की गिनती १४ नवंबर को होगी। चुनाव आयोग ने २४३ सदस्यों वाले बिहार विधानसभा चुनावों के लिए मतदान कार्यक्रम की घोषणा की।
