National News

  • In a landmark announcement at the COP 28 on 1st December 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Green Credit Initiative,’ a path breaking program aimed at reshaping global environmental policies.
  • The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) initiated a two-day comprehensive training and orientation program dedicated to addressing Latent Tuberculosis Infection in the country.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered an address at the high-level segment of COP28 in Dubai, extending greetings from the 1.4 billion people of India.
  • Vice Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Western Naval Command (WNC), on Friday 1st December 2023 addressed members of the media at the Navy Day Annual Press Conference of Navy Week 2023 on board the Indian Navy’s stealth guided missile destroyer INS Chennai at Mumbai.
  • Indian Railways has achieved over one thousand metric tonnes of freight loading from April to November this year. The Railways Ministry said, this is an improvement of around 36 metric tonnes over last year’s loading for the same period.

  • Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij on Friday said that “Panjokhara” village in the Ambala Cantonment assembly constituency will be renamed as “Panjokhara Sahib” in recognition of its religious importance.
