National Updates

• The Union Cabinet approved around one lakh crore rupees employment-linked incentive scheme to boost employment generation in the country. The scheme is aimed at incentivising the creation of over 3.5 Crore jobs in the country over a period of two years.

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a five-nation visit to Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia   In the first leg of his visit, Mr. Modi will visit Ghana which will be the first  tour by an Indian Prime Minister  in the last three decades.

• Indian Navy commissioned INS Tamal at Yantar Shipyard, Kaliningrad in Russia. INS Tamal is the eighth multi-role stealth frigate in the series of Project 1135.6 and the second of the additional follow-on Tushil class of ships.

• Death toll in explosion in the pharma industry at Pashamylaram in Sangareddy district in Telangana has risen to 36. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has sought a comprehensive report on the explosion.

• The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) Limited has achieved the milestone of executing over 60 Gigawatts of Power Sale Agreements (PSAs) of renewable energy capacity.

• Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw launched the RailOne app, which is a one-stop solution for all passenger services. The App offers ease of access for services like ticketing, enquiries of trains, PNR, Journey Planning, Rail Madad Services and Food on Train.

• Air Marshal S Sivakumar VSM assumed the appointment of Air Officer-in-Charge Administration (AOA) at the Air Headquarters in New Delhi.

• केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने देश में रोजगार सृजन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए करीब एक लाख करोड़ रुपये की रोजगार से जुड़ी प्रोत्साहन योजना को मंजूरी दी। इस योजना का उद्देश्य दो वर्षों की अवधि में देश में 3.5 करोड़ से अधिक नौकरियों के सृजन को प्रोत्साहित करना है।
• प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आज घाना, त्रिनिदाद और टोबैगो, अर्जेंटीना, ब्राजील और नामीबिया की पांच देशों की यात्रा पर निकलेंगे। अपनी यात्रा के पहले चरण में श्री मोदी घाना का दौरा करेंगे जो पिछले तीन दशकों में किसी भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री का पहला दौरा होगा।
• भारतीय नौसेना ने रूस के कलिनिनग्राद स्थित यंतर शिपयार्ड में आईएनएस तमाल को कमीशन किया। आईएनएस तमाल प्रोजेक्ट 1135.6 की श्रृंखला में आठवां बहुउद्देश्यीय स्टील्थ फ्रिगेट है और अतिरिक्त अनुवर्ती तुशिल श्रेणी के जहाजों में से दूसरा है।
• तेलंगाना के संगारेड्डी जिले के पशामिलाराम में फार्मा उद्योग में विस्फोट में मरने वालों की संख्या बढ़कर 36 हो गई है। तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री रेवंत रेड्डी ने विस्फोट पर व्यापक रिपोर्ट मांगी है।
• भारतीय सौर ऊर्जा निगम (एसईसीआई) लिमिटेड ने नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा क्षमता के 60 गीगावाट से अधिक बिजली बिक्री समझौते (पीएसए) निष्पादित करने का मील का पत्थर हासिल किया है।
• रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने रेलवन ऐप लॉन्च किया, जो सभी यात्री सेवाओं के लिए वन-स्टॉप समाधान है। यह ऐप टिकटिंग, ट्रेनों की पूछताछ, पीएनआर, यात्रा योजना, रेल मदाद सेवाएं और ट्रेन में भोजन जैसी सेवाओं तक आसान पहुंच प्रदान करता है।
• एयर मार्शल एस शिवकुमार वीएसएम ने नई दिल्ली स्थित वायु मुख्यालय में एयर ऑफिसर-इन-चार्ज एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (एओए) का पदभार ग्रहण किया।

International Updates

• Indian Air Force Group Captain, Shubhanshu Shukla, the first Indian aboard the International Space Station (ISS), is leading a groundbreaking experiment to decode muscle loss in space. Part of Axiom Space’s Ax-4 mission, Shukla is studying muscle stem cell cultures in the ISS’s Kibo module.

• India and Pakistan today exchanged the lists of civilian prisoners and fishermen in each other’s custody. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, India has shared names of 382 civilian prisoners and 81 fishermen in its custody. Similarly, Pakistan has also shared names of 53 civilian prisoners.

• A heatwave is continuing across Europe, with France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Germany under heat alerts. In France, a red alert, the highest extreme heat warning, is in place, including Paris, where the top of the Eiffel Tower is closed.

• A total of 3,284 Afghan families, comprising 13 thousand 29 members have returned to their homeland on Monday from neighboring Iran and Pakistan. Afghanistan’s High Commission for Addressing Returnees’ Problems stated that over 1.2 million Afghans have returned from Iran and Pakistan so far.

• Thailand’s Constitutional Court has suspended Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra following a leaked call with former Cambodian leader Hun Sen. The court is reviewing a petition seeking her dismissal over the controversial clip, which triggered public outrage and political backlash.

• In Australia, a powerful storm lashes the east coast, leaving thousands of people without power, and authorities warn the situation will worsen overnight. Evacuations are underway as residents in waterfront homes on the Central Coast, north of Sydney, have been ordered to leave.

• भारतीय वायु सेना के ग्रुप कैप्टन शुभांशु शुक्ला, जो अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष स्टेशन (आईएसएस) पर सवार होने वाले पहले भारतीय हैं, अंतरिक्ष में मांसपेशियों की हानि को समझने के लिए एक अभूतपूर्व प्रयोग का नेतृत्व कर रहे हैं। एक्सिओम स्पेस के एक्स-4 मिशन का हिस्सा, शुक्ला आईएसएस के किबो मॉड्यूल में मांसपेशी स्टेम सेल संवर्धन का अध्ययन कर रहा है।
• भारत और पाकिस्तान ने आज एक-दूसरे की हिरासत में नागरिक कैदियों और मछुआरों की सूचियों का आदान-प्रदान किया। विदेश मंत्रालय के अनुसार, भारत ने अपनी हिरासत में ३८२ नागरिक कैदियों और ८१ मछुआरों के नाम साझा किए हैं। इसी तरह पाकिस्तान ने भी ५३ नागरिक कैदियों के नाम साझा किए हैं।
• पूरे यूरोप में भीषण गर्मी जारी है, फ्रांस, स्पेन, इटली, पुर्तगाल और जर्मनी में गर्मी की चेतावनी जारी की गई है। फ्रांस में रेड अलर्ट, जो कि अत्यधिक गर्मी की सबसे बड़ी चेतावनी है, लागू है, जिसमें पेरिस भी शामिल है, जहां एफिल टॉवर का शीर्ष भाग बंद है।
• कुल 3,284 अफगान परिवार, जिनमें 13 हजार 29 सदस्य हैं, सोमवार को पड़ोसी ईरान और पाकिस्तान से अपने वतन लौट आए हैं। अफगानिस्तान के वापस लौटने वालों की समस्याओं के समाधान हेतु उच्चायोग ने कहा कि अब तक 1.2 मिलियन से अधिक अफगान ईरान और पाकिस्तान से वापस आ चुके हैं।
• थाईलैंड के संवैधानिक न्यायालय ने पूर्व कम्बोडियाई नेता हुन सेन के साथ लीक हुई बातचीत के बाद प्रधानमंत्री पैतोंगटार्न शिनावात्रा को निलंबित कर दिया है। न्यायालय विवादास्पद क्लिप के कारण उनकी बर्खास्तगी की मांग करने वाली याचिका की समीक्षा कर रहा है, जिससे जनता में आक्रोश और राजनीतिक प्रतिक्रिया उत्पन्न हुई थी।
• ऑस्ट्रेलिया में पूर्वी तट पर एक शक्तिशाली तूफान आया है, जिसके कारण हजारों लोग बिजली के बिना रह गए हैं, तथा अधिकारियों ने चेतावनी दी है कि रातोरात स्थिति और खराब हो जाएगी। सिडनी के उत्तर में सेंट्रल कोस्ट पर तटवर्ती घरों के निवासियों को वहां से चले जाने का आदेश दिए जाने के कारण लोगों को निकालने का काम चल रहा है।
