NATIONAL NEWS
•The Government has approved PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana for installing rooftop solar system in one crore households with a total outlay of 75,021 crore rupees.

•Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually laid the foundation stone and dedicated to the nation multiple development projects of 17,000 crore rupees across Madhya Pradesh on Thursday.

•Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman called upon the Customs Department to be alert and vigilant while manning the post in sensitive border areas, especially in areas that are densely populated and vulnerable.
