The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) successfully secured the extradition of Red Notice subject Amritpal Singh alias Gurpal Singh from Moldova to India. The wanted fugitive was extradited by the CBI in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the Ministry of Home Affairs.

BRICS nations have unanimously adopted the New Delhi Declaration on the First day of the BRICS Summit 2026, being held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi proposed to adopt the declaration at the end of the session on the first day of the summit.

• ब्रिक्स देशों ने नई दिल्ली के भारत मंडपम में आयोजित होने वाले ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन २०२६ के पहले दिन सर्वसम्मति से नई दिल्ली घोषणा को अपनाया है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने शिखर सम्मेलन के पहले दिन सत्र के अंत में घोषणापत्र को अपनाने का प्रस्ताव रखा।
