• नेपाल में सीपीएन (यूएमएल) केंद्रीय समिति की बैठक स्थगित कर दी गई है। सीपीएन (यूएमएल) पार्टी की 58वीं सचिवालय स्तरीय बैठक में यह निर्णय लिया गया कि केंद्रीय समिति की बैठक अब 15 से 17 अक्टूबर तक काठमांडू में होगी।
• इजरायल रक्षा बलों (आईडीएफ) ने घोषणा की है कि गाजा पट्टी में युद्ध विराम समझौता कल दोपहर से प्रभावी हो गया है, क्योंकि हमास के साथ हुए समझौते के तहत इजरायली सैनिकों को सहमत तैनाती लाइनों पर वापस बुला लिया गया है, जिसका उद्देश्य सभी बंधकों की रिहाई में सहायता करना है।
