• केंद्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल (सीआईएसएफ) ने लैंगिक समानता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए अपनी पहली महिला कमांडो इकाई शुरू की है। मध्य प्रदेश के बरवाहा में क्षेत्रीय प्रशिक्षण केंद्र में प्रशिक्षण चल रहा है। केंद्र में ३० महिला कर्मी ८ सप्ताह के उन्नत पाठ्यक्रम से गुजर रही हैं।
• लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिड़ला ने रविवार को दिल्ली में 68वें राष्ट्रमंडल संसदीय सम्मेलन के बारे में अंतर-मंत्रालयी ब्रीफिंग की अध्यक्षता की। ब्रीफिंग के दौरान वक्ता ने बताया कि यह सम्मेलन इस वर्ष 5 से 12 अक्टूबर तक ब्रिजटाउन, बारबाडोस में आयोजित किया जाएगा।
• इसरो ने गगनयान मिशनों के लिए पैराशूट आधारित मंदन प्रणाली के संपूर्ण प्रदर्शन के लिए पहला एकीकृत एयर ड्रॉप टेस्ट (आईएडीटी-01) सफलतापूर्वक पूरा कर लिया है। पैराशूट प्रणाली को मान्य करना एक महत्वपूर्ण अभ्यास था जो अंतरिक्ष यात्रियों को मिशन के तहत सुरक्षित रूप से वापस लाएगा।
• रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन- डीआरडीओ ने कल ओडिशा के तट पर एकीकृत वायु रक्षा हथियार प्रणाली- आईएडीडब्ल्यूएस का पहला उड़ान परीक्षण सफलतापूर्वक किया।
• सरकार ने उन अफवाहों का खंडन किया है कि ट्रेन टिकट बंद कर दिए गए हैं और अब यात्रियों को टिकट नहीं मिलेंगे। प्रेस सूचना ब्यूरो की तथ्य-जांच इकाई ने स्पष्ट किया कि रेल मंत्रालय द्वारा ऐसा कोई आदेश जारी नहीं किया गया है तथा सोशल मीडिया पर प्रसारित की जा रही कोई भी अफवाह फर्जी है।
• केंद्रीय मंत्री जेपी नड्डा ने कल शाम दिल्ली में फिजी के प्रधानमंत्री सितिवेनी राबुका से मुलाकात की। फिजी के प्रधानमंत्री भारत की तीन दिवसीय यात्रा पर कल सुबह नई दिल्ली पहुंचे।

• रूसी विदेश मंत्री सर्गेई लावरोव ने पश्चिमी देशों पर यूक्रेन संघर्ष को समाप्त करने के लिए शांति वार्ता को “अवरुद्ध” करने का प्रयास करने का आरोप लगाया। यह कूटनीतिक गतिविधियों की झड़ी के बाद हुआ है जो प्रगति को रोकती दिख रही है।
• टाइफून काजिकी के तेज होने के कारण वियतनाम और चीन में अधिकारियों ने आपातकालीन तैयारी शुरू कर दी है। वियतनाम ने थान होआ, क्वांग ट्राई, ह्यू और दनांग सहित मध्य प्रांतों से लगभग छह लाख लोगों को निकालने की योजना बनाई है। सात तटीय प्रांतों में नौकाओं को तट पर ही रहने का आदेश दिया गया है।
• इज़रायली युद्धक विमानों ने यमन की राजधानी सना में कई स्थलों पर हमला किया है, जिनमें राष्ट्रपति भवन के पास का क्षेत्र और एक तेल डिपो भी शामिल है। इजरायली हवाई हमलों में हौथी मिसाइल ठिकानों पर हमला होने के बाद सना में विस्फोट हो गए।
• हवाई द्वीप पर स्थित किलाउआ ज्वालामुखी ने हाल ही में नाटकीय लावा फव्वारा विस्फोटों के कारण व्यापक ध्यान आकर्षित किया है, जिससे लावा 100 फीट ऊपर हवा में फैल गया। यह दिसंबर, २०२४ के बाद से ३१ वां विस्फोट है जो दुनिया के सबसे सक्रिय ज्वालामुखियों में से एक के रूप में किलाउआ की प्रतिष्ठा को मजबूत करता है।
• पेंटागन की खुफिया एजेंसी के प्रमुख लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल जेफरी को अमेरिकी रक्षा सचिव पीट हेगसेथ ने बर्खास्त कर दिया है। यह घटना ईरान पर अमेरिकी हमलों के प्रभाव का आकलन करने वाली समीक्षा की व्हाइट हाउस द्वारा की गई फटकार के कुछ ही सप्ताह बाद आई है।
