• रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह आज चीन के क़िंगदाओ में एससीओ रक्षा मंत्रियों’ की बैठक में भाग लेंगे। श्री सिंह कल शाम चीन पहुंचे। बैठक के दौरान रक्षा मंत्रियों द्वारा क्षेत्रीय एवं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय शांति एवं सुरक्षा सहित अनेक मुद्दों पर चर्चा किये जाने की उम्मीद है।
• सरकार ने तीन हजार ६२६ करोड़ रुपये की लागत से पुणे मेट्रो रेल परियोजना चरण-II के विस्तार का निर्णय लिया है।
• ऑपरेशन सिंधु के तहत ईरान से कुल तीन हजार १५४ भारतीय नागरिकों को भारत लाया गया है।
• केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (सीबीएसई) ने घोषणा की कि कक्षा 10 की बोर्ड परीक्षाएं अगले वर्ष से दो सत्रों में आयोजित की जाएंगी। नए ढांचे के अनुसार, प्रारंभिक परीक्षा फरवरी में होगी जो सभी छात्रों के लिए अनिवार्य होगी।
• केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने नई दिल्ली में ‘द इमरजेंसी डायरीज़-ईयर्स दैट फोर्ज्ड ए लीडर’ नामक पुस्तक का विमोचन किया। यह पुस्तक प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका पर प्रकाश डालती है।
