1. HUMANITARIAN (ADJECTIVE): (मानवीय): compassionate

Synonyms:
 humane, unselfish

Antonyms: selfish, for profit

Example Sentence:

The prisoner had been released early for humanitarian behaviour.

2. ACCEDE (VERB): (मान लेना): accept

Synonyms: endorse, go along with

Antonyms: refuse, deny

Example Sentence:

The authorities did not accede to the strikers’ demands.

3. FUTILE (ADJECTIVE): (व्यर्थ): fruitless

Synonyms: pointless, useless
