  1. DESPOIL (VERB):destroy


Synonyms: desecrate, devour Antonyms: construct, assemble

Example Sentence:

She despoiled my plans.

2. NETTLE (VERB): 
provoke

Synonyms: annoy, chafe Antonyms: appease, soothe

Example Sentence:

What happened was the result of Shashi’s anger so now stop nettling her.

3. PIED (ADJECTIVE): spotted

Synonyms: dappled, mottled Antonyms: uncoloured, unflecked

Example Sentence:

I saw green leaves that are heavily mottled with chocolate and maroon.


4. SERENE (ADJECTIVE):
 calm

Synonyms: peaceful, placid Antonyms: clamorous, turbulent

Example Sentence:

There is serene environment in my yoga classes.

5. PESTILENT (ADJECTIVE): dangerous

Synonyms:
 baneful, contagious Antonyms: secure, unhazardous

Example Sentence:

Stay away from this pestilent plant.


6. PAPER TIGER (NOUN):
 powerless person

Synonyms: empty suit, hollow man Antonyms: powerful person, influential person

Example Sentence:

Sanjay is nothing but a paper tiger.

    Synonyms:
    congeal, fossilize Antonyms: soften, liquefy

    Example Sentence:

    Example Sentence:

    9. BROOK (VERB): endure

    Synonyms: countenance, tolerate Antonyms: dodge, shun

    Example Sentence:
    I can’t brook you anymore now.

    10. BOUNTEOUS (ADJECTIVE): generous

    Synonyms: beneficent, bountiful Antonyms: miserly, uncharitable

    Example Sentence:

           He is so bounteous in nature.
